 In Team Performance

To accept anyone else’s point of view, you must pay attention to hear them.

You’ve got to pause the chatter (whoever that is) for at least a minute to really listen.

You must silence everything else (at least for a moment) to get the idea.

If you can appreciate, recognize, and acknowledge their insight, you can allow everyone’s wisdom to emerge.

The key is to be open and to be conscious to make sense of it all.

Be fully present to each member of your team. Keep letting them see how they play an important and meaningful role in accomplishing the vision.

That’s how you start to make an impact.

You can do it. Prove it up.

Pay attention. Listen. Understand.
